Leuven Scholarships offers scholarship for international students who are interested in enrroling master programme of the Faculty of Science of the K.U.Leuven for this academic year 2022-2023

Scholarship benefit:
- A yearly Stipend approximately 10.000 Euro is provided for succefully admitted
- Tuition fee for 1 year,
- Health insurance
Important:
If a student is awarded the full scholarship of 10.000 Euro, it is still advisable to bring some extra money. Here you can find an overview of living costs in Belgium.
Most master programmes of the Faculty of Science are two-year programmes. The scholarship for the second master year will only be continued on the condition that the student had outstanding results the first master year.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for this scholarship Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- an applicants have not studied or worked at the University of Leuven before,
- a candidate have not yet acquired a master degree or a PhD,
- have had excellent study results during their former training,
- Who have got bachelor degree from a foreign university that gives them access to the master programme they are applying for.

- two reference letters
- a letter of motivation for the programme.
- Afther have been completed and submitted your application for the master’s programme, you will get a message on the screen that you succesfully submitted the application.
- IMPORTANT! Take a screen shot of this message. it has to be uploaded when you register for the Science@Leuven Scholarship

- your registration is complete after you have received an email stating that you have been registered for the Science@Leuven Scholarship.
Note: Only Applications that have been submitted before 15 February 2022 will be considered for the scholarship
