4. Face Patch (White)
- Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc (6)
- Rnd 2: inc around (12)
- Rnd 3: (1 sc, inc) ×6 (18)
- Rnd 4: sc around (18)
Fasten off, leave long tail. Sew around eye area like a mask. Embroider small black curved lines for realism. Add yellow satin stitch patch near beak if desired.
5. Wings (Make 2)
Base Wing (Deep Purple)
- Row 1: ch 10, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across (9)
- Row 2–8: ch 1, turn, sc across (9)
- Begin shaping: ch 1, turn, dec, sc to last 2 sts, dec (7)
- Continue decreasing 1 st at each end every row until you reach 3 sts.
- Fasten off.
Feather Layers (Lavender & Lilac)
Make 4–6 smaller feathers per wing in graduated sizes using same method (ch 6–12, decrease edges to point). Layer and sew overlapping slightly for realistic feather look. Sew completed wings to sides of body, angled slightly backward.
6. Tail Feathers (Make 3–4, Deep Purple)
- Row 1: ch 15, sc across (14)
- Row 2–6: ch 1, turn, dec first 2 sts, sc to last 2, dec (decrease 2 sts per row)
- Fasten off when pointed. Sew evenly at lower back of body.
7. Feet / Claws (White, Make 2)
- Rnd 1: MR, 6 sc (6)
- Rnd 2: (1 sc, inc) ×3 (9)
- Rnd 3–5: sc around (9)
- Fasten off, stuff lightly. Create 3 small toes using ch 4–5, sl st back. Sew to base of body.
