Azerbaijan Government scholarship is a fully funded scholarships for Bachelor, Masters and PhD. However, the scholarship is open to the citizen the countries which are members of Organization of Islamic cooperation not only but also nonalignment movement countries. Applicants from these countries are eligible to apply for Azerbaijan Government scholarship regardless of their religions race or ethnicity. the main purpose of the program was to increase the human capital of developing countries moreover,to strengthen the bilateral relations of Azerbaijan with these countries

Eligible countries: OIC and NAM country Members
Scholarship benefits:
Azerbaijan Government Scholarship benefits are:
- Tuition fees
- International flight (once in a year, economy class)
- Monthly allowance (800 AZN, includes meals, accommodation and cost of utilities)
- Medical insurance
- Visa and registration cost
Eligibility:
to be eligible for Azerbaijan government scholarship Applicant should fit the criteria bellow,
- Citizens of the OIC and also the NAM member countries
- Candidats for bachelor must not be more than 25 years
- not more than 30 years for Masters programs
- For doctoral programs– 40 years
The candidates must:
- Be officially nominated by respective state entities of their country (Ministries, Embassies, etc.) to the Embassies or to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Documents Required for Application:
Applying for Azerbaijan Government scholarship candidates must provide the listed below documents
- Completed application form
- Diplomas or Transcripts from prior High School or University studies
- Copy of Passport
- Document on general health status (including HIV/AIDS, Hepatitis B and C tests)
- CV or Resume
- Motivation Letter
- Proof of English Proficiency (for programs in foreign languages: for undergraduate programs IELTS 5, TOEFL 40, for other programs IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 50)
Note: All documents must be translated into English or Russian and notarized.
